ECF's new building is getting closer and closer to being finished! Take a look at some of the latest updates done to the building.
Our large accent mosaic stain glass window has been installed!
The window features ECF's staple purple and gold. This window allows so much light in which is going to brighten up and bring color to the whole building.
We are finally sanding and taping walls, which is crazy to think because a couple months ago we didn't even have interior walls up!
In the pictures below, you can see the construction workers pouring aggregate for the second-floor balcony, building the trash enclosure, and installing domestic water into building.
Here they are lowering the ice tanks that are placed 8+ feet into the ground because this is a part of the new building's AC chiller system. ECF is committed to the process of using ice for thermal energy storage. The process can reduce energy used for cooling during times of peak electrical demand. In Florida, peak time is everyday around 12.
We are moving along in this process! Can't wait to see it through to the finish line.
